It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Adam Scholz of Lincoln, Nebraska, a beloved son, brother, and friend whose presence brought joy, laughter, and warmth to so many lives.
Adam was known for his kind heart, infectious humor, and the genuine way he connected with others. Whether it had been days or years since he last saw someone, he had a remarkable ability to pick up right where things left off—making people feel valued, remembered, and truly seen. His vibrant personality and signature greetings, like his unforgettable “HEY LADYYY!!!,” will echo in the memories of those who loved him, bringing both smiles and tears in the days ahead.
He was connected to both Von Maur and Central Community College Hastings, reflecting his dedication to both his work and personal growth. Adam approached life with a spirit of determination balanced by a lightheartedness that made every environment brighter simply by his presence.
At the center of Adam’s life was his family, who meant everything to him. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Shirley and Tom Scholz; his siblings, Clark Scholz, Stuart Scholz, and Amanda Sheffield; and a large extended family including aunts Shelly Clark and Sharon Cuda, as well as cousins Dustin Scholz, Mitchell Clark, and Bridget Clark Henkel. The bond he shared with each of them was one of love, loyalty, and unwavering support.
