A 39-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Dallas County, Missouri on Monday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man—who was from Buffalo, Missouri—was riding along Missouri Route JJ west of Long Lane, Missouri when his motorcycle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
Troopers confirmed that the rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The incident marks the 24th traffic fatality in 2026 for Troop D, which covers 18 counties across southwest Missouri.
The crash remains under investigation.
