Authorities in Brunswick, Maine have confirmed that Rebecca Dorr, a 56-year-old woman who had been missing for nearly two months, has been found dead.

At the time of her disappearance, officials believed she may have left her home on foot and noted she could have been experiencing mental health challenges.
This was the second time Dorr had gone missing in recent months. In August 2025, she disappeared for three days before being found.
Authorities have stated that her death is not considered suspicious.
