STEPHENVILLE, Texas — A family in Stephenville, Texas is mourning the heartbreaking loss of a mother and her young son after a car crashed into their home early Sunday morning.
Authorities say Barbara Rocha and her 7-year-old son, Alex Rocha, were asleep in their bedroom just before 3:30 a.m. when a vehicle slammed into the house, killing them both.

Police identified Gracie Yates, 18, as the driver involved in the crash. She has been arrested and charged with two counts of criminally negligent homicide. Jail records show bonds totaling $29,000.
