Mark Pilkinton Lawrenceburg, TN Obituary-Death: 67-year-old Man Sadly Passed Away

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mark Pilkinton, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, who departed this life on Monday, March 23, 2026, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Born in Sheffield, Mark lived a life rooted in faith, family, and simple joys. He was a dedicated employee at NHC Scott and a faithful member of the Ethridge Church of Christ, where he found community and spiritual strength.

Mark will be fondly remembered for the love he had for his family and the time he cherished with them. He found happiness in life’s quiet moments—working on puzzles with his daughters, sharing laughter at home, and cheering on his beloved Tennessee Volunteers football. One of his greatest joys was simply being surrounded by those he loved, including his loyal dog, Honey, who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Porter and Martha Nell Gregory Pilkinton, and his brother, Greg Pilkinton.

Mark leaves behind a loving family who will continue to carry his memory: his devoted wife of 21 years, Jennifer Pilkinton; his daughters, Jenna Pilkinton (Cash Piatt) and Josie Pilkinton, both of Lawrenceburg; his niece, Kirsten Sherrill of Columbia, Tennessee; his great-niece, Evelynn Sherrill; and his cherished companion, Honey.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Mark’s life. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Ethridge Church of Christ, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by David Stofel and Kirt Hughett. Interment will take place at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life filled with love, faith, and devotion. Mark Pilkinton will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
