The Amarillo community and the family of Stephanie Renee “Nini” Trinidad, 34, mourn the heartbreaking loss of a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Nini passed away on March 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unshakable devotion to her family. Born on April 16, 1991, in Amarillo, Nini’s life was defined by the joy and warmth she brought to every room she entered.

Those who knew Nini remember her as a radiant spirit with a quick wit, playful pranks, and a laugh that could light up any space. She had a unique way of making people feel seen, heard, and safe, offering comfort and support even in her own challenging moments. Her energy and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Above all, Nini was a devoted mother. Her daughter, Frankie Renee Olivarez, was the center of her world, and the love Nini shared with her was fierce, unconditional, and everlasting. That bond, full of guidance, protection, and joy, will continue to live on in Frankie’s life, a testament to a mother’s enduring heart.

Nini was also a cherished daughter, the beloved child of Felipe J. and Sophia Renee Trinidad, and a loving sister to Olivia (Oscar Mondragon), Chelsea (Jesse Goodman), and Lacey (Matt Lopez). Her family was her foundation, and she carried her love for them into every interaction. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Leon and Yolanda Hernandez, her lifelong friend and daughter’s father, Austin Olivarez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends she treated as family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Francisco and Rachel Leal; her maternal uncle, Frank Leal; her paternal uncle, Leon Hernandez, Jr.; and her beloved niece, Braleigh Renee Trinidad-Goodman.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel in Amarillo, Texas, where friends and family will gather to honor her remarkable life.

Though Nini’s time was far too short, her love, laughter, and the way she made those around her feel valued will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of her family and the countless lives she touched.

Stephanie Renee “Nini” Trinidad will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever carried in our hearts.
