CLEVELAND, Ohio — With profound sorrow, the community mourns the tragic loss of Ecaurion Wymes, 18, who passed away on March 25, 2026, following a shooting on Cleveland’s west side.

Ecaurion was one of three teens injured in the incident, which occurred on the afternoon of March 24 in the 3100 block of West 46th Street. He was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries despite the dedicated efforts of first responders and medical staff.
