Shooting in Woodbridge Ontario Today — A man has died after a shooting Monday afternoon in the Vaughan area of Woodbridge, York Regional Police confirmed. Authorities describe the incident as “targeted” and not random, as they continue to investigate and search for the suspect vehicle involved.

Police were called shortly after 1 p.m. to a commercial plaza near Weston Road and Colossus Drive, close to Highway 7 and Highway 400, following reports of gunfire and an injured man. When officers arrived, they found the victim in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

York Regional Police say they believe the shooting was intentional and targeted, with a dark‑coloured SUV seen leaving the area shortly after the incident.
