Officials with the Caledonia Police Department have confirmed that a 65-year-old woman who was reported missing has been found deceased.
Death, Obituary, Missing Woman Found Dead in Racine CountyAccording to police, the woman’s family contacted authorities Tuesday night at approximately 8:54 p.m. to request a welfare check after becoming concerned about her whereabouts.
During the investigation, officers located her vehicle unoccupied at a park in the City of Oak Creek. Caledonia police then coordinated with the Oak Creek Police Department to conduct a thorough search of the surrounding area, utilizing K9 units and drone technology.
The woman was discovered Wednesday morning. Authorities have stated that foul play is not suspected at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
