Another Duggar Arrested for Crimes Against Children.

Joseph Garrett Duggar, the 31-year-old Arkansas man who appeared on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” got picked up out of state and is heading back to Florida to face charges.
According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, authorities charged him with lewd and lascivious behavior for molestation of a victim under 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior by someone 18 or older. The alleged crime went down in 2020 during a family trip to Panama City Beach.
The victim, now 14, sat down for a forensic interview and described how Duggar kept asking her to sit on his lap. Later on a couch, he covered them with a blanket, messed with her underwear, grazed her genitals, and rubbed her thighs, the report says. He allegedly told her he was sorry afterward.
Investigators got the tip on March 18, 2026, from Tontitown police. The girl’s dad had confronted Duggar about it right before that, and Duggar admitted everything to the father and to those Arkansas detectives, per the sheriff’s office.
He’s sitting in custody while they set up extradition to Bay County. No details out yet on bail or a court date.
This marks the second Duggar brother in legal trouble for sex-related offenses. His older brother Josh is serving more than 12 years in federal prison after a 2021 conviction for explicit child content.
