Suspects Arrested Following Armed Home Invasion

PRINCE GEORGE, VA – Prince George County Police have arrested two suspects and safely
recovered a one-week-old infant following a violent home invasion early this morning.
Just after midnight, police responded to the 100 block of Aspen Court. Officers determined that Aaron
D. Williams Jr. (21), the child’s father, shot through a glass door to force entry, took the infant from
the mother at gunpoint, and fled.
Officers intercepted the suspect vehicle as it was leaving the neighborhood. Two semi-automatic
pistols (one stolen) were recovered. Williams Jr. was found in the vehicle with the infant; he was
extremely uncooperative and resisted commands before being arrested.
The infant was evaluated by Prince George Fire and EMS and found to be unharmed before being
released back to the mother. Child Protective Services was notified.
Charges and Suspect Information:
• Aaron D. Williams Jr. (21) of Colonial Heights: Abduction, Burglary, Shooting into Occupied
Dwelling, Child neglect, Use of a firearm in commission of a felony, Domestic assault,
Trespassing, Reckless handling of a firearm, DIP, Conspiracy to commit felony, Possession of
a concealed weapon, and Possession of a stolen firearm.
• Delvinette A. Stokes (22) of Richmond: Abduction, Concealed firearm, Use of a firearm in
commission of a felony, Shooting into an occupied dwelling, Possession of a stolen firearm.
